Problem
AI agent runtimes lack disciplined developer workflows, causing uncoordinated changes, endless repair loops, and unmanaged git histories.
Context
Vetor is a skills plugin that coordinates agents across isolated development flows. It runs natively in agent runtimes with structured permissions.
Objective
Cover a whole development cycle: ideation, backlog, isolated worktree, autonomous fix, ship and guard.
Architecture
The repository is organised by role: agents for coordinated dispatch, skills for each step of the workflow, MCP integrations, a command-line interface, hooks and templates. The scripts are TypeScript, run on Deno.
Stack
Decisions
Merges are serialised
Issues are dispatched to agents in parallel; their merges go in one at a time.
The fix loop is bounded
The autonomous reproduce, fix, rebuild and test loop stops at five iterations.
Architecture review stays manual
The architecture-review skill is always run by hand, never on a schedule.
Implementation
Authored six core workflow skills in TypeScript: spec, issue-coordinator, fix-loop-agent, worktree-ship, guardian and architecture-review, complete with automated hook bindings.
Results
- Automated worktree creation, headless execution, and bounded self-healing loops.
Limitations
- Headless issue coordination needs autonomous permissions to be configured first.
- Compatibility with other agent runtimes is partial.
Evidence
Each record backs a claim made above; the reference beside a result, a limitation or a decision points here.
Workflow cycle
The six steps the plugin covers, and the skills that carry them.
Skills, agents, hooks and scripts
The published repository is the record: TypeScript on Deno, organised by role.
The fix loop is bounded
Five iterations at most, stated in the skill itself.
Known limits
Headless coordination depends on permission setup; other runtimes are only partly supported.
